On a small seafood platter, there is no equal to bring a smile to the table. Mineral, frank, but not without suppleness, the Muscadet as we would expect and which will not disappoint.more reviews

Here is one of the benchmarks of the Muscadet vineyard, known to all enthusiasts and sommeliers; we are not ready to dismiss this wine yet.
This 100% Melon de Bourgogne is the antithesis of Muscadet wine’s technology and industry in the service of expressing the terroir. The siliceous soils from metamorphic rocks contribute much to this wine of tremendous elegance and style. Harvested 100% manually and barrelled in entire crops, the handling of these wines is by gravity only, no pump, fermented by artisans using solely indigenous yeasts. Work in the vineyard and wineries is conducted in full respect for nature and the environment. The wines have been made using biodynamic methods since 1998, with Demeter and Biodyvin certification. During tasting, you will enjoy its crystalline colour and intense, balanced and iodine nose of citrus fruits and vegetables, all perfectly balanced. The aromatic development is perfect. It starts off sharp on the palate and then develops on a slender and fine body. The finish offers good length; here is a superb bottle still at a reasonable price, so enjoy it!

Ah, here is a delicious Muscadet which does honor to the Melon de Bourgogne grape variety, often not well made. There we taste an excellent wine with a golden colour with a feeling of sparkling freshness on the palate. Thank you to the worthy winegrowers.

Light and vibrant biodynamic white from Loire Valley. Citrus nose. Fine body, rather high acidity.

A beautiful expression of very pure and balanced Muscadet. A wine of pleasure to accompany a seafood platter! A beautiful liveliness combining notes of citrus fruits, white flowers and slightly smoky notes. A delight!

DOMAINE DE L'ÉCU

Guy Bossard, talented winemaker from Domaine de L'Ecu represents the face of Muscadet all by himself. A convinced biodynamicist, he applied his methods from the beginning of the 1970s. Mocked in the beginning and then admired a few years later, Guy Bossard is one of the rare winegrowers to have known how to elevate Muscadet to the rank of great wine. The convincing quality over the vintages led him to biodynamic reconversion in 1996. Building on his success and his experience, he decided to hand over to a wine enthusiast (Muscadet in particular). Boeotian winegrower, Frédéric Nigervan Herck, whom everyone calls Fred, learns alongside his mentor all the subtleties of these Loire lands. In no time at all, he has assimilated all the knowledge and intuition of his master, ensuring the sustainability of what can be considered the best of Muscadet wines. The wines today show a lot of panache and precision. The aromatic complexity and depth of the wines on the palate seem to have propelled Fred's wines to the top of the bill. This estate has clearly taken off, producing without a doubt some of the greatest wines in the world.
