The Domaine du Coulet in Cornas is managed by the commercial structure Matthieu Barret SARL. This Domaine is made up of 20 hectares of vineyards on hillsides on granite soils. Syrah is cultivated here to produce red wines in Cornas AOC and Côtes du Rhône AOC. There is a variant of the Cornas terroir with the blend of Viognier , Roussanne and Marsanne was born to offer a Brise Cailloux Blanc in Côtes du Rhône (the Cornas appellation being of course exclusively for red wines made from Syrah). The Domaine practices organic and biodynamic cultivation on its two structures which are Ecocert and Biodyvin certified.
