For the Plageoles, winegrowing is a family affair… and a matter of curiosity. Ondenc, Loin-de-l’Œil, Mauzac Roux, Verdanel, Duras, Mauzac Rose … here, we love diversity just as much as the terroir of Cahuzac-sur-Vère. Florent and Romain took over the estate from their parents, Myriam and Bernard, who remain very much involved, still sharing a coffee with the team every Wednesday at 10am. But the young heirs have their own energy: their passion is evident in every project, from the creation of the Terroirists range to the daring Contre-pied editions. Each new vintage tells the story of their love for wine, the vineyard and the expression of the terroir. At Domaine Plageoles, tradition and creativity blend together, and every bottle reflects the vitality and curiosity of this family of winemakers.
