Great bargain for the price, definitely pleasing, single grape (Mourvèdre) but close to the Chateauneuf du pape in spirit. Quite powerful but a bit monolithic.

Buying and collecting Xavier Vignon's Arcane range, you won't be disappointed, power and a superb colour at affordable price considering the quality!

One of the best of Xavier Vignon’s fine series of Arcane Rhône’s. Blended from Grenache and Syrah these are beautifully balanced, great complexity and stunning with lamb and cheeses.

Black colour with reflections of blood. Elegant tannins, beautiful structure that promises to be with red and black fruits, then gives way to a delicate mineral nuance to finish with balsamic notes and perhaps incense and liquorice. Of great finesse and complexity.

A high profile Rhône with notes of black fruit and pepper. On the palate it is very well-structured with elegant tannins. Some aromas of candied red fruits and a hint of liquorice. The finish is long on the palate. A delight.

A magnificent wine in the tarot style. I love its labels. I'm keeping some to age for a few years - a big thank you to Mr Xavier Vignon.

Stunning vintage, a wine that's already very well-aged and will probably give us a few surprises over time. Powerful, tannic, black fruits and oak notes. You'll love it or hate it.

XAVIER VIGNON

Xavier Vignon is one of the most renowned oenologists in the Rhone wine region. He has worked as a consultant to more than 200 wineries in the Rhone Valley and has gained a worldwide reputation for his expertise and collaboration on the best wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. He started his own production in 2002, and the winery is now known for wines of exceptional quality and Xavier Vignon's own style of wine, both of which make him a successful winemaker. Elegant and well-balanced wines that beautifully reflect the terroir, because terroir and minerality are the philosophy of his work and not only in wine production, as he also runs an oenological institute, where he explores these aspects. His wines obtain the highest scores in the Robert Parker Guide.
