LEAVE YOUR REVIEWRound, fruity: this red will be the ideal companion for your everyday meals or barbecues with friends!
Surprisingly deep and dark. Just how we like it. Little acidity and an appealing bouquet. We immediately reordered. The wine is ideal for larger rounds, e.g. at a garden party.
An unorthodox blend of the three grape varieties, but one that works perfectly. With powerful aromas of dark berries, plums and some cassis, whereby the fruit on the palate does not go wide, but is grounded by the noticeable, but soft tannin. Round and harmonious, really fun.
Created in 1967, the Roquebrun cellar is located in the heart of the Haut Languedoc regional park and benefits from an exceptional, mild, but relatively arid microclimate which allows the different grape varieties of the Saint-Chinian appellation to flourish. Since 2004, the estate has been producing this AOC Saint-Chinian, in red, white, rosé, and each of its cuvées reveals great complexity, a very fruity side and intense aromas for an incredible value for money. A great discovery!
