The Domaine du Peyra is first and foremost a wine made by human and for human. It is also the terroir of the Pic Saint-Loup, where, for several centuries, the astonishing magic of oenology has been at work. Different types of vines flourish here to produce only the best of their fruit. Their taste is then sublimated by a meticulous vinification process. However, we produce more than just wine. However, we produce more than just wines. We create wines of friendship and conviviality, conveying the soul of our estate. It is epicurean wine. It brings good humour and the contagion of happiness. It invites its consumers to share the exhilarating enthusiasm of this wine. For wine, even more than for anything else, man is at the centre of everything. It is indeed Man who chooses the soil on which he will plant his vine, choose his grape variety and force this vine to give him the best of its fruits. It is also the man who chooses the best method of vinification to sublimate the fruit and the magic of its transformation, to obtain "the wine"... his wine... This is my work, my passion, to translate through my own vintages, a certain philosophy, made of friendship, good humour and conviviality, and then, to meet other men who will relay the enthusiasm; to share it in their turn with consumers happy with their discovery. A chain is thus created around a wine and a certain state of mind; all this is just the story of my life...
