Domaine des Creisses was born from the takeover by Philippe Chesnelong of a family farm of around 100 years. In the heart of the village of Valros, his great-grandfather had built the walls of the picturesque Languedoc cellar as well as those of the mansion dating from 1901. By taking over the estate in the 1990s, Philippe Chesnelong's ambition is to let the terroir express itself and to produce a great red wine from the Mediterranean. Since 1997, his cousin, Louis Mitjavile (world famous Saint- Emilion advisor), has participated in the success of the estate.
