LEAVE YOUR REVIEWBeautiful expression of this incredible terroir that is Pomerol. From the highest part of this appellation, Chateau Gazin brings out a beautiful Merlot! Full but at the same time fresh and with great drinkability
Colour: deep ruby
Nose: intense, red/black fruit (redcurrant, plum, blackberry), herbal (mint, medicinal), liquorice, vanilla, clove, cedar, some leather, tobacco
Mouth: good volume, medium acidity, polished tannins, long finish
I finally opened a bottle, I decanted, I let it rest and I tasted ....this vintage is excellent, a very good length on the palate, Gazin great art!
An excellent perfumed wine, elegant and well balanced. It did not excite me, but that may be because I drank it after more prestigious bottles. In any case worthy
Château Gazin is a Pomerol of choice, with a very fruity, powerful nose and an excellent finish on the palate. A wine of character, but very well made and well-balanced.
Elegant and pleasant Pommerol, intense in colour and assertive with its 100% Merlot. Not among the best ever drunk but acceptable value for money, drinking with friends or as a couple
With its 24 hectares in one piece, Château Gazin is the largest of the best Pomerol crus, a rank that the château has maintained since the end of the 1980s thanks to considerable work. Nicolas de Baillencourt produces there, with regularity, an excellent wine with a classic structure and which ages admirably.
