Château de Sales, the largest estate in the Pomerol AOC, has been in the same family for over five centuries. The château, built in the 17th century, has great charm and elegance, as do its wines, which express the best of their wonderful terroir. Careful monitoring of the 47.5 hectares of vines, sustainable farming (no insecticides), controlled yields, manual harvesting, vinification and ageing specific to each vintage, followed by selection through tasting, produce 10,000 cases of Château de Sales and 5,000 cases of Château Chantalouette.
