LEAVE YOUR REVIEWGood champagne and very good when you look at price tag. Aromas of fig and pear. Pretty complex for the price. Nice acidity. Only complaint maybe that the finish is quite short.
A lovely smooth and not overwhelmingly bubbly that goes down particularly well when extra chilled. Bargain price for Champagne that could easily challenge household and overrated "big" names- double its price.
Intense brioche with balanced acidity. Feels good to discover quality grower champagnes.medium body nice finish. Fresh Champagne not complicaated fizzy to drink...
Nice basic Champagne. Pale gold coloured, dry and highly acidic. On the nose fresh green fruit like apple, pear, grass, white flowers. Toast with honey and citral notes in the taste. Clean but not long finish. Enjoyable, good value.
This Champagne is soft land has light bubbles. It is so subtile that I first didn't notice the bubbles. It is not as prominent as a lot of Champagnes. A little hint of caramel but still fresh. Our 6 bottles where all a little different of taste. One was great and I would given that one 19/20. Gr Ed
We first tasted this premier cru as the house champagne in a Michelin restaurant. It doesn't possess a lot of length but has a clean, fresh taste and has become one of our most-drunk champagnes.
Smells of talc and white toast, choisya blossom. Strong honeysuckle and lemon cordial on the palate. A sweetness that seems to come more from fruit – ripe peaches – than dosage. Really ripe fruit with a tropical juiciness and boldness.
Could not believe this Champagne at this price! Lovely notes of apple, pear, lemon, lime and toast. It was a crowd pleaser and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to drink! Perfect start to a Christmas dinner.
A very nice budget friendly Champagne! Good body and acidity! Aromas of citrus, white flowers and almonds! I would say that delivers much better than I was expecting for its price tag!
Result of a unique terroir in the world, Champagne CL de la Chapelle brings together five families of winegrowers based in Ville-Dommange, a village classified as Premier Cru in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. Since 1948, these winegrowers, pooling their know-how and valuing their centuries-old work, have never stopped innovating in order to improve the quality of their products. Today, they offer a range of rare Champagnes, made in the pure Champagne tradition.
