CHATEAU FIGEAC 2010 - 1ER GRAND CRU CLASSE B

0,75 L Red Wine / France / Bordeaux / Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé AOC / 14 % vol

“An extraordinary wine by Château Figeac!" Robert Parker
Neighbour of Cheval Blanc, Figeac continues to be the largest domaine of the town of Saint-Emilion with 40 hectares of vines. Château de Figeac has a completely different grape variety due to a privileged gravel terroir: 70% Cabernet (half Cabernet Franc, half Cabernet Sauvignon) and only 30% Merlot. This unusual aspect makes Figeac “the most Médoc of the Saint Emilion domaines”. This very harmonious and well-structured wine is a huge success. Its ageing potential is one of the most important of the great Bordeaux wines, making it a model of elegance...Excellent already today, it will become sublime over the years!!

CHÂTEAU FIGEAC

The great wine from Figeac, Premier Grand Cru Classé since 1954, stands out for its elegance, freshness and balance. Pleasing when young, Figeac reveals its complexity over time, offering a rich palate of sensations and always arouses great emotions. Château de Figeac has a completely different grape variety due to a privileged gravel terroir: 70% Cabernet (half Cabernet Franc, half Cabernet Sauvignon) and only 30% Merlot. This unusual aspect makes Figeac "the most Médoc of the Saint Emilion domaines".
