The great wine of Figeac, Premier Grand Cru Classé A since 2022, is distinguished by its elegance, freshness and harmony. Pleasing from its youth, Figeac reveals its complexity over time, offering a rich palette of sensations and always arousing great emotions. Château de Figeac has planted 70% Cabernet (half Cabernet Franc , half Cabernet Sauvignon ) and only 30% Merlot , which is unusual for the appellation, due to its privileged gravel terroir. As a result, Figeac is described as the most Medoc-like of the Saint-Emilions. The wines also show a freshness and distinction unequalled in Saint- Emilion .
