The Despagne family has owned the chateau for more than two centuries and François Despagne has been running it since 1996. The chateau has been certified organic since 2013. Its terroir close to Pomerol gives wines that express complex aromas of red fruit and floral notes evolving with age, towards spicier nuances, truffles, violet and cherry that are sustained on the palate, by the finesse and smoothness of velvety tannins.
