AN EXCEPTIONAL VINEYARD BETWEEN LAND AND SEA

Located in La Londe-les-Maures, facing the sea and surrounded by vineyards and palm trees, Château Sainte Marguerite is a Cru Classé Côtes de Provence vineyard that extends over approximately 168 hectares. Ideally located on the Var coastline, between Toulon and Saint-Tropez, the estate benefits from an exceptional location, rich soil and exceptional climatic conditions.

Created in 1929, Château Sainte Marguerite was awarded the Cru Classé in 1955 for the authenticity and quality of its wines. In 1977, Brigitte and Jean-Pierre Fayard fell in love with the Château Sainte Marguerite estate and this was the beginning of a beautiful family story. Indeed, Château Sainte Marguerite is above all a family adventure: parents, children and grandchildren are passionately committed to raising Château Sainte Marguerite to excellence. Since the acquisition of the property, the Fayard family has been committed to raising the estate, creating remarkable and world-renowned wines with passion and talent. ORGANIC AND VEGAN APPROACH

Precise and concerned about the environment, it was in 2003 that the Fayard family established itself as a pioneer, by deciding to set up an organic and environmentally friendly viticulture. Convinced that quality comes from a permanent respect for the environment, the Fayard family applies an agriculture without chemical treatments. This ecological awareness allows Château Sainte Marguerite to harvest grapes from ECOCERT certified organic agriculture. The vines of Château Sainte Marguerite are cultivated without any chemical products, respecting the terroir and the ancient grape varieties. This quest for excellence involves the production of healthy, balanced grapes whose quality always takes precedence over quantity. The wines of Château Sainte Marguerite are also vegan certified. Château Sainte Marguerite is the first wine estate in Provence to claim to be a vegan vineyard. The production of the Var vineyard is thus guaranteed 100% plant-based, without any input of animal origin.

CRUS CLASSÉS FROM PROVENCE

Since 1955, Château Sainte Marguerite has been one of the 18 prestigious Crus Classés of Provence. Château Sainte Marguerite was awarded this distinction for the authenticity, diversity and quality of its products. Jean-Pierre Fayard and his son Olivier have established the estate as a reference in the Côtes de Provence appellation with exceptional wines.

THE WINES OF CHÂTEAU SAINTE MARGUERITE

The cuvée Château offers a rosé that is an immediate pleasure. With a beautiful aromatic expression, full of freshness and finesse, this rosé is the ideal companion for summer aperitifs, to be enjoyed with family or friends. The Symphonie cuvée, a great refined gastronomic rosé and the emblematic cuvée of the domaine is the pure expression of the great terroirs of Provence. Finally, Château Sainte Marguerite has named its new cuvée Fantastique. This great Provence rosé pays tribute to the Symphonie Fantastique by the composer Berlioz.
