BURGUNDY GRAND CRU

Richebourg is a Grand Cru located in the heart of the Vosne-Romanée vineyard, a mythical commune in Burgundy. It is one of the best known and most sought-after Grands Crus of the Côte de Nuits. The Richebourg Grand Cru parcel is located mid-slope, above Romanée Saint-Vivant and alongside Romanée-Conti and La Romanée. The vineyard covers about 8 hectares of Pinot Noir, on 2 climats: Véroilles and Richebourg. These climates are located on brown limestone soils and on a bedrock of hard Premeaux limestone. The vines are spread out between 250 m and 310 m in altitude, allowing the Pinot Noir to blossom fully and express all its complexity. This great Burgundy wine of exceptional character is one of the greatest red wines in the world.
