Arbois AOC
Arbois is not only the capital of the Jura wines, it is also one of the first AOC of France. The vineyards are spread over 13 communes, and a wide range of wines can be found here. Although the land is more suited to the production of red wines, there is considerable production of dry white wines, rosés, vin jaune and vin de paille, a sweet wine typical of the Jura. Arbois comes from the Celtic words 'ar' and 'bos' meaning 'fertile land'. The vineyard benefits from rich soils whose quality allows the production of wines that are very different from each other. Discover these wines of character with a singular style with the Château Béthanie, the Caveau de Bacchus and the Domaine Rolet & Fils.
