Nestled in the heart of Bandol’s iconic landscapes, La Villa Madeleine is not merely a residence: it is a living testament to Provence ’s wine-growing history. Built in 1776, its walls have witnessed generations pass by, from harvests to country festivals, and still echo with tales of Provence’s past. From its veranda, the eye is drawn to the sparkling Mediterranean, the dry-stone terraces and the centuries-old vines that surround it, true guardians of ancestral traditions. Today, this villa steeped in history has become much more than a heritage site: it has been transformed into the control room for a visionary wine-trading venture, led by two passionate winemakers: Gregory Hecht & François Bannier. Together, they are reinventing the codes of Provence’s great wines, combining heritage with innovation.
