UJVR stands for Union des Jeunes Viticulteurs Récoltants (Union of Young Winegrowers). It is a unique organisation dedicated to quality, with eight winegrowers from the Union pooling their resources to form a single, solid operation. The individual skills of each of the partners complement the strength of the group and the experience acquired over two generations. The same people plant the vines, cultivate them, make the wine and market it, with each partner being responsible for a specific area (vineyard, cellar, quality, etc.). The Union des Jeunes Viticulteurs Récoltants works 60 hectares of vines located on the very steep slopes of Vercheny, Aurel, Barsac and Saint Sauveur en Diois, i.e. on the best terroirs of the appellation. In 2009, the UJVR obtained Sustainable Agriculture certification, followed by HVE certification in 2015. This guarantees its commitment to respecting the environment and ensures its good farming practices.
