The Tornatore family has been working the vineyards and terroir of Castiglione di Sicilia, at the foot of Mount Etna, since the early 1930s. The family now owns 60 hectares, located between 550 and 700 metres above sea level, making it one of the largest properties in the Etna DOC. François Lurton is the fifth generation of this family of winegrowers, who have been producing wines in the Bordeaux region since 1897. In 1988, he set up his own company with his brother Jacques, before taking over the reins of the business on his own. He is now the owner and producer of several unique vineyards around the world: in Argentina , Chile , Spain and France .
