The Terra Vecchia & Clos Poggiale estate is a gem nestled in the heart of Corsica , north of Aleria (Haute-Corse). Between the Étang de Diana and mountains rising to over 2,500 metres, the vines stretch across gently sloping hills and two different terroirs: one more mountainous on the Pianiccia plateau, and the other more maritime and lacustrine on the coastal strip. The organic vines (mainly island grape varieties such as Niellucciu, Sciaccarellu Vermentinu and Biancu Gentile), bathed in sunshine and caressed by sea breezes, produce grapes of exceptional quality, giving rise to wines that capture the soul of their terroir. Each bottle from the Terra Vecchia & Clos Poggiale estate tells a story, that of the harmonious marriage between the land, the climate and the passionate expertise of its artisans.
