He has a discreet personality and it is by humbly stepping aside to let the vine and its terroir express itself that he paradoxically earned his status as a wine super star! From Bierzo to the Rias Baixas, via Ribeira Sacra and Monterrei, he signs artist wines whose reputation extends far beyond the borders of his native Spain.
