Hidden behind a forest of holm oaks and Scots pines, protected from the mistral wind by the Montagne Noire, Prieuré de Montézargues quietly matures its eight grape varieties ( Grenache Noir and Blanc, Cinsault, Syrah , Mourvèdre, Carignan, Clairette and Bourboulenc) on sandy slopes under the Provence sun. Since 2003, Guillaume Dugas has been orchestrating this majestic 33-hectare estate in the Tavel appellation, the only appellation in the Rhône region to produce only rosé wines. He produces delicious, delicate and powerful wines: haute-couture rosés with notes of red fruits and peaches, offering a full palate combining spices, flavours and balance.
