Founded in 1957 in Orches, Nuiton-Beaunoy is the only cooperative winery in the Côte d'Or, now bringing together 80 families of winegrowers and cultivating nearly 350 hectares in the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Hautes-Côtes appellations. This family union is based on a united and authentic vision of wine. The cooperative is committed to a sustainable approach under the Vignerons Engagés label, which promotes respect for the vines, the terroirs, the people and the environment. Grass cover, soil cultivation and integrated pest management are at the heart of its collective work.Nuiton-Beaunoy promotes a wide variety of climats — such as Les Dames Huguettes, Le Prieuré, Les Millotes and La Perrière — to reveal wines with rich and unique expressions. It also produces iconic bottles, such as the Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Clos du Chapitre", appreciated for its elegance and depth. With more than 3 million bottles produced, 30% of which are exported, the cooperative combines local expertise with international influence. It is also innovating: since 2022, the Cerço range has been offering eco-designed organic wines – lighter bottles, no capsules, compostable packaging – to offer a responsible and modern approach to Burgundy wine.
