Founded over a century ago, Maison Louis Tête is a true benchmark in Beaujolais . Heir to a line of passionate wine merchants and producers, Jean Tête made his mark on the history of the house by developing the estate and perpetuating family traditions. Over time, he passed on his high standards, rigour and attachment to the terroirs. In 2017, Maison Louis Tête joined Cave Agamy, one of the largest cooperative wineries in Beaujolais and the Rhône region. This partnership was a natural fit, as both share the same values of consistency, monitoring, passion and respect for the terroirs. Today, Agamy's cellar masters are responsible for the vinification and ageing of Louis Tête wines, in keeping with the spirit of the house. Louis Tête wines embody all the authenticity and generosity of Beaujolais. These fruity, delicious and accessible wines accurately reflect the typical characteristics of Gamay , the region's emblematic grape variety .
