Nicolas Perrin, voted wine merchant of the year in 2011 by La Revue des Vins de France (family wine merchant at La Vieille Ferme, Château de Beaucastel in Châteauneuf du Pape), continues his rise by establishing himself on the steep slopes of Crozes-Hermitage at the Les Alexandrins estate. In 2014, with the support of three figures from the northern Rhône Valley, Nicolas Jaboulet, Marc Sorrel and Alexandre Caso, who encouraged him to promote the estate's very promising wines, he perfected his work on the vineyard plots. The three of them put their combined knowledge to the test, and Maison Nicolas Perrin changed its name to Maison Les Alexandrins. Together, forming Domaine et Maison Les Alexandrins, they continued to produce great Côtes du Rhône wines, offering Nicolas the opportunity to expand his range with a revisited classicism. Maison Les Alexandrins thus produces small yields of wines in a more contemporary style from the exceptional terroirs of the northern Rhône Valley: Crozes Hermitage , Ermitage, Saint Joseph, Condrieu, Côte Rôtie and Cornas. These are great appellations under the aegis of the great names of the Rhône vineyards: when you taste them, you enter the very exclusive club of the very greatest Côtes du Rhône wines.
