An independent family run business, the Maison Louis Latour is among the most respected wine merchants of Bourgogne . Known worldwide for the quality of its red and white wines, the company has built a reputation of tradition and innovation. Considered one of the most traditional merchant-farmers, Louis Latour produces some of the best wines in Burgundy , and has also led the way in the production of fine wines from other regions (Ardèche). The Latours have been winemakers since the 17th century, and are now owners of a 50-hectare estate; which includes the largest area of grand crus in the Côte d'Or with a total of 28 hectares. The vineyards extend from Chambertin - in the north - to Chevalier Montrachet - in the south.
