The estate's vineyard covers 39 hectares divided into 165 plots spread over the numerous hills and slopes of the Sancerre appellation. We are fortunate to have a vineyard that is evenly distributed across the three terroirs of the Sancerre appellation. Consisting of a myriad of small plots, we have access to a wide variety of soils, slopes and exposures. This diversity brings us consistency and complexity year after year. Our soils are cultivated with respect for our terroirs, plants and the environment, as we are CSR-certified with the 'Vignerons engagés' label, which is based on the international ISO 26000 standard, as well as High Environmental Value (HVE) certification. Every cuvée produced by Domaine Fournier Père et Fils must proudly uphold the values and spirit of the estate. We defer to the power of the terroirs, working them in harmony to better understand them, and they express themselves in each of our bottles. Like a conductor, our oenologist Damien Laurent brings coherence, connection and soul to all the vintages, which ultimately form one big family. Each vintage is different, yet all are united by the same passion and the same roots.
