The estate and its 14 hectares of vines are located in the village of Neive, in the heart of the Barbaresco appellation. Aldo Pola, with the help of his wife Luisella and his children, continues the work started in 1969 by his father Franco. Their goal is to present the territory of Neive in the bottle. The estate has been modernized over the years in order to achieve the right balance between tradition and technology necessary to best preserve the characteristics of the wine. As everywhere in Piedmont, here the Nebbiolo is the king of grape varieties. The microclimate and the sun add to the terroir and make this DOCG the real protagonist of a territory where the Barbera, Dolcetto and Arneis grape varieties are also well regarded. From the United States to Northern Europe, from Japan to Australia , the wines of Fontanabianca renew the tradition of a land of perfume and great elegance.
