The CARPINETA FONTALPINO estate has belonged to the CRESTI family since the 1960s, and there are traces of wine-making tradition dating back to the beginning of the last century (1800).The estate is located in the heart of Tuscany, near beautiful Siena in the historic town of Castelnuovo Berardenga, in historic Montaperti.The surrounding area is rich in history, legends and love. Those lucky enough to visit it will experience strong emotions and unforgettable atmospheres.We have the honour and privilege of living here, and we strive to preserve the landscape and traditions unchanged.Gioia is the estate's oenologist and oversees all production, vinification and ageing processes, making the most important decisions that give the entire production its personal style. Filippo mainly deals with commercial development and marketing.The land covers approximately 80 hectares and has various cultivars.The area planted with vines covers approximately 28 hectares of specialised vineyards subdivided into Sangiovese, Merlot , Cabernet Sauvignon and other experimental vines such as Petit Verdot, Alicante, etc.The production areas are Chianti Classico and Colli Senesi.
