In 1964, Paul Seroin, a young visionary, settled in this wild Corsican land, a superb land suitable for fishing, hunting, bathed in the sun, tranquility and of course for the potential of its soils. It is in Sant’Armettu, that he chooses to anchor; this place of charming beauty where lived a hermit passionate about plants who had the gift of healing. For more than three decades, these grapes supplied the Sartène cooperative, until 1996, where Gilles, his passionate wine merchant son, took the leap and joined the operation. He created the estate’s first cellar, bringing a vision inspired by these years to contact with the great winegrowers in France and elsewhere. In 2019, the estate has 40 hectares and produces a range of plots and old grape varieties quite unprecedented for this land of Corsica .
