"I created this wine estate in 2007 by taking over the operation of 3 ha of vines aged 40 to 80 years by vinifying wines representative of this unique Moulin-à-Vent terroir. Today at the head of 5 ha, I started transforming the vineyard into organic in 2012. My installation in Romanèche-thorins is the result of meeting my partner Corinne and the discovery of a terroir whose history, evolution and potential fascinate me. Before that, various experiences in winemaking and vine cultivation allowed me to acquire the knowledge necessary for the production of quality wine: Chablis, Gaillac, South Africa , New Zealand , Luberon, Brouilly are the regions and countries that I crossed to train." - Richard Rottiers -. "One of the region's most dedicated organic farmers, the Domaine suffered in vintages of 2016 and 2017 which saw Moulin-à-Vent ravaged by hail. But 2018 represents a return to some sort of normalcy and it produced a superb range of wines. Semi-carbonic maceration is followed by ageing in casks and barrels, depending on the vintage. With the exception of a rather woody 2017, all that is commented on here is more than highly recommended." - R. Parker -
