Nicolas Rossignol, born in 1974, represents the 5th generation of winegrowers in the terroirs of Volnay. He has been vinifying since 1994 at Domaine ROSSIGNOL-JEANNIARD, thus perpetuating the family tradition. After a complete technical training acquired at the wine school of Beaune, Nicolas puts his knowledge into practice during various internships, at the Domaine JOSEPH VOILLOT in Volnay, at the Domaine LOUIS LATOUR in Ardèche as well as at the Domaine du VIEUX TÉLÉGRAPHE in Châteauneuf-du- Pope. Anxious to master other cultivation and aging techniques, he left to vinify in South Africa at Domaine BOSCHENDAL in 1995 then in Bordeaux at Château LA CARDONNE governed by Château LAFITE ROTHSCHILD. It was not long before he created his own estate in 1997 with an area of ​​3 hectares spread over the municipalities of Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses. After judicious mergers, notably with the Domaine Rossignol-Jeanniard, the Domaine has an area of ​​17 hectares and works with more than thirty appellations.
