The passion for excellence as well as the art of discreet know-how are passed down from generation to generation, to get only the best of their exceptional vineyard. This family vineyard, with an average age of 45 years, is located on the most prestigious plots around the cellars of the estate. Reasoned agriculture is in the spotlight among the Michel, with great attention paid to the maturity of the grapes, for optimal harvests. One of the most striking features of this estate is that it abandoned wood and barrels forty years ago to use only vats in order to obtain clean, pure and precise wines. By maturing all its chablis in vats, from simple "village" to grand cru , the Louis Michel estate remains in the Chablis tradition where the taste of wood has no place.
