Today, the 9th generation of winegrowers passionately tends to Domaine les Chaumes. Formed in 1998 as an SCEV (Société Civile d'Exploitation Viticole), Jean-Jacques and Monique BARDIN, along with their three children, jointly manage this exceptional 55-hectare vineyard, whose plots are divided between the appellations: AOP Pouilly-sur- Loire , AOP Pouilly-Fumé, AOP Sancerre and IGP Côtes de La Charité. These owner-growers now cultivate the vineyard according to the HVE (High Environmental Value) approach, drastically limiting the use of pesticides, using organic farming products, hoeing and preserving the natural vegetation of the headlands, all of which contributes to good soil quality and, consequently, good quality vines and fruit. The aim is to continuously improve, despite the vagaries of the weather, and to pass on a perfectly healthy heritage to future generations!
