In the 1990s, Roy Richards and Mark Walford imported Gérard Gauby's wines for the English market. Gauby was convinced that the vineyards of Fenouillèdes had real potential to produce high-quality wines. He therefore suggested that they form a partnership to exploit these vineyards. Wendy Wilson, with her extensive experience in vineyard management in the Loire and the United States , took up the torch behind Gérald and is now at the head of the Soula team. Their vines have been cultivated organically since the beginning and biodynamically since 2008. Soula wines are distributed in various countries around the world, feature in many of the most famous restaurants and are on the lists of the most prominent importers worldwide.
