Domaine le Conte des Floris is a small estate created in 2000, comprising around 7 hectares near the town of Pézenas in the Coteaux du Languedoc . The winemaker and founder, Daniel, is a former journalist and ex-editor-in-chief of RVF magazine. His Burgundian origins have partly influenced his vision of wine: he is obsessed with freshness, delicacy and length in wines, rather than opulence and richness. He has successfully experimented with whole bunch fermentation, always with the aim of bringing maximum freshness. Finally, he particularly enjoys selecting a grape variety and pairing it with his favourite terroir so that each can express its full potential. As you can see, Daniel is a passionate winemaker who successfully changed careers 25 years ago and now offers us a range of unique, distinguished and elegant wines.
