Domaine Jean Esprit, located in Pont-de-l'Isère in the heart of Crozes-Hermitage , is a family estate founded in 1909. Now run by Jean, the fifth generation, the vineyard covers around twenty hectares cultivated using organic farming methods. The clay-limestone terraced soils mixed with rounded pebbles give the wines finesse and authenticity. In 2017, Jean took over the winemaking at the estate and inaugurated a modern gravity-fed cellar. Since then, his vintages have perfectly reflected the expression of the terroir: elegant, fruity and balanced Syrah reds, as well as wines marked by great freshness. True to the family spirit and respectful of nature, the estate is now establishing itself as a rising star of the Crozes- Hermitage appellation.
