It was in 1930 that "Les Caves de Seyssel" was founded, a time of recognition and delimitation of the area of Controlled Designation of Origin. Taken over in 1988 by Gérard Lambert and his wife, this house then experienced a new boom, combining tradition and modernism. Faithful to the preservation of heritage and local products, these two enthusiasts have notably taken over the development and vinification of "Royal Seyssel", the flagship of the Seyssel appellation for over a century. The cellar now specializes in making Seyssel wines using the traditional method, but also offers a wide range of Seyssel and Savoy wines.
