The Domaine Durieu was shaped little by little under the leadership of Paul Durieu in the 1970s. The cellar was created in 1976, the date of the first vintage. The peculiarity of this estate is due to the age of the vines, some predating the First World War, as well as younger vines. The vineyard offers a complete palette ranging from Côtes du Ventoux to Châteauneuf-du-Pape passing through Côtes-du- Rhône and Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu. Today, the wines of the Durieu estate have acquired significant notoriety (in particular thanks to their presence at trade fairs, wine fairs for individuals, in wine merchants or major restaurants). In addition, the wines of the Durieu estate are referenced in guides such as those of Parker or that of Jancis Robinson.
