A 60-hectare family vineyard perched between 300 and 400 metres above sea level on the heights of Valréas, Domaine du Séminaire embodies four generations of passion and commitment. Operating entirely under organic farming practices, with a biodynamic approach extending even to the use of the lunar calendar in the cellar, the estate carefully cultivates Grenache , Syrah , Mourvèdre, Carignan, Viognier , Roussanne, Marsanne , Clairette and Grenache Blanc. The clay-limestone and marl soils lend the wines natural freshness, vibrant fruit and well-integrated tannins. The historic winery, dating from 1938 and modernised over the years, is equipped with temperature-controlled concrete vats to preserve precision and aromatic purity. Operating entirely independently, from vineyard to market, the Pouizin family produces wines that are straightforward, honest and sincere.
