Located in the heart of the Hermitage terroir in the town of Mercurol, the Domaine du Colombier, a winegrower from father to son, Florent Viale belongs to the very exclusive club of great Rhône wines. The son, thanks to the modernization of the estate, sells the estate's own wines when the production was initially intended for trading. On 3 distinct parcels, the vines are cultivated in sustainable culture: The Syrah is intended for the production of red Crozes-Hermitage . The Marsanne on the second parcel is used for the production of white cuvées of the same appellation. Finally, located in the localities of Beaumes and Les Diognères, the third offers the best of the terroir in AOC Hermitage.
