This enabled Robert Parker to say that even in the great terroirs of the Côte de Nuits one could still make high quality discoveries. The quality of its terroirs, the rigor brought to the cultivation methods, to the vinification and to the ageing have earned the Domaine des Perdrix a reputation and an image among the greatest of the great wines of Burgundy . Since 1996, Domaine des Perdrix has continued to be at the top of many blind tastings: best Pinot Noir in the world, best Echézeaux, best Nuits-Saint-Georges.
