The Trevallon estate has acquired such renown today that it is sometimes forgotten that it was fairly recent. Forerunner of the rebirth of the Baux vineyard, Eloi Dürrbach planted the first vines in the Alpilles in 1973. Always conquering the maquis, the estate continues to grow and become known until it becomes one of the jewels of the French vineyard. Its wines, red and white, serve as models for the perfectly adequate grape varieties of this most vibrant local wine in the French wine -growing landscape.
