Nestled in the heart of the Jura , Domaine de Savagny, founded by Claude Rousselot-Pailley, has been cultivating ancestral know-how since 1986 to offer a complete range of Jura wines and crémants. From red wine to crémants, straw wines, yellow wines and Macvins, all are made with passion. The vineyard covers 45 hectares in the commune of Lavigny. The terroir features clay-limestone and marl soils where Côtes du Jura and Château Chalon appellation wines are produced. Its attachment to traditions and indigenous grape varieties ( Savagnin , Poulsard, Trousseau, complemented by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir ) gives rise to wines of remarkable finesse and complexity.
