Originally, Domaine de la Solitude was a property belonging to the religious order of the Congregation of the Holy Family. In 1993, this congregation decided to entrust the management of its 34-hectare vineyard to the Bernard family, who already owned Domaine de Chevalier, one of the most prestigious classified growths in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Since then, significant technical investments have been made, enabling the qualities of this superb terroir to be brought to the fore and elevating Domaine de la Solitude to the level of the appellation’s finest wines.
