Consisting of beautiful plateaus and clay-limestone hillsides, it is home to 20 hectares of Cabernet Franc and 6 hectares of Chenin , unique grape varieties of the Chinon AOC. Our vines are surrounded by woods that protect them from frost and storms, and are interspersed with plots of cereals (triticale, peas, wheat, sunflowers, etc.), all cultivated using organic farming methods.Wild and domestic animals are also present. Hens tirelessly roam the vineyards closest to the winery. An apiary has been in place a little further away for several decades. A flock of sheep grazes on the meadows and fallow land in the summer and grazes on the vegetation covering the vineyards in winter.As lovers of tuffeau stone and heritage, we have undertaken the restoration of the old buildings. In addition to the farm buildings, this includes the cellars and their wine presses, which bear witness to the wine-growing activity of yesteryear.The expression of the terroir, the work of man. Each bottle contains a part of sensitivity, reflection and hard work. Our choices are guided by the desire to express, in the bottle, the symbiosis between the vine and its environment. Each vine and each bunch of grapes is treated with the utmost care in the vineyard. Harvested by hand, the grapes are transported to the winery by gravity, ensuring finesse and gentle extraction, resulting in juices of the purest elegance. The selections are left to age for several months in the cellar. Maturation, sometimes in wood, sometimes in amphorae, refines the aromas and ennobles the tannins.
