The history of the winery dates back to 1935. 80 years of history and efforts have made Cuatro Rayas the benchmark for Spanish white wines today. Today, Cuatro Rayas produces almost 20% of the wine that is bottled in DO Rueda, thus becoming the largest producer with an annual production level of 15 million bottles. Its wines, made mainly from the Verdejo grape, are widely consumed in Spain and also have a great influence in foreign markets, with a presence in more than 50 countries, including Japan, China, the United States , Germany , the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Mexico.
