The emblem of the vineyard, Maison Amirault was built in the early 1800s and acquired by Xavier's great-great-grandfather in 1830. But it was in 1893 that Octave Amirault, the great-grandfather. Xavier's father makes it a wine estate. Today the estate covers 37 hectares. Guided by their convictions and a strong desire to respect the environment, the Amiraults make living wines. Working with common sense and simplicity to preserve the environment, they have chosen biodynamic agriculture. A pedological study was carried out on the whole area which made it possible to identify 12 units of terroir which are each worked according to their own needs.
