Clos des Orfeuilles is an 18.5-hectare vineyard located in the commune of Le Pallet, about thirty kilometres from Nantes. It is a vineyard with exceptional geology, where we are participating in the extraordinary adventure of the revival of Muscadets sur lie. Clos des Orfeuilles is a vineyard before it is a property. At Clos des Orfeuilles, the adventure of the rebirth of Muscadet is a Mineral Odyssey. For the richness of the property is first and foremost geological. Terroirs of schist and micaschist, gneiss and orthogneiss, with a strong presence of quartz or amphibolite in places. The quality and diversity of the soils here is remarkable. This is spread over four distinct plots, each revealing its own terroir and personality. Clos des Orfeuilles belongs to the Castel family's estates.
