It was in 1943 that the history of the Fournier family and of cider began. On the southern borders of Normandy, in the heart of the land of the Dukes of Alençon, the reliefs offer landscapes of solid hills interspersed with green valleys. Apple and pear trees flourish on the hillsides stretched out in the sun. It is in this environment that Fournier Ciders cultivate their orchards of tall apple trees.
